Fishing in Sweden is very versatile. You can go fishing in big lakes, but also in small mountain streams. Which contains all different kinds of fish. Sweden is known for its massive pikes, but there is more…
At the rivers and higher lakes you also can catch trout, salmon and other species. The Klarälven, a famous and also the longest river of Sweden is known for its trout, grayling and even salmon. The most common way of fishing this river is with flyrod, but spinfishing is also a good way to catch some fish here.
In the lakes you can fish for pike and perch of all sizes. Sweden counts around 100.000 lakes, of which 10.500 in Värmland, the province where we organize our tours.
With this unique fishing tour, we will travel by quad to a beautiful lake in the middle of nature… After a nice ride with the quad we will go bellyboat fishing to catch some nice pike, perch or trout.
From hobby to work… that is what we (Jan and Arne Kosten) have done. Fishing is one of our favourite thing to do. And where better to go fishing than in Sweden, the land of the big fat pikes? In summertime we are almost every day out on the water, looking for fish.
But also in wintertime we like to go out fishing. Even though there is a thick layer of ice on the lakes, we are often ice fishing on one of the nearby lakes.
